The standard lid for the Retap Carafe is designed and produced in Denmark, with a focus on both aesthetics and functionality. Every detail has been carefully considered – from the smooth, edge-free surface that prevents bacteria build-up, to the fit and feel in daily use.

Made from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), the lid is free from PVC, bisphenol A (BPA), and phthalates. TPE is chosen for its low environmental impact and unique physical properties, including optimised elasticity that ensures a snug, secure fit in the Retap Carafe.

The material is heat-resistant up to 120°C, making the lid dishwasher safe and suitable for regular use. Available in six colours, the lid adds a personal touch to your carafe and fits seamlessly into any interior.

The Retap Lids are designed and made in Denmark. The look and feel is finetuned to the smallest details. An essential feature is that the lid is suitable for reuse. It is designed without any edges where bacteria can accumulate and grow.

RETAP STANDARD LIDS

The material of the standard lids is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It is 100% safe as it is free of PVC, bisphenol A (BPA) and phthalates.
We carefully selected this material due to its low environmental impact and because of its physical abilities. Most important was the fine-tuning of
the elasticity. The lids need to stretch out to smoothly fit the Retap Bottle but also be solid enough, so they do not fall off. TPE is resistant to heat until 120 °C before deforming. That is why you can simply wash the lids in a dishwasher or by hand.
The standard lids are available in 18 colours. The colourful lids are perfect for personalising your Retap Bottle or Carafe to your personal style and mood or company brand.
